Western Blocking Buffer
Western Blocking Buffer is suitable for blocking transfer membranes such as PVDF or Nitro CelluLose membrane in Western Blot to prevent the non-specific binding of the subsequent primary antibody or secondary antibody to the membrane. Based on the requirement, 5-10mL of blocking solution is required for each membrane. It prevents non-specific binding of the antibody to the membrane by saturating the membrane with nonreactive proteins. The background can be reduced, and the signal-to-noise ratio can be enhanced to achieve the desired color rendering effect.
IFU: It is a ready-to-use product therefore no dilution is required. After protein transfer, place the transfer membrane in a container, add a sufficient amount of membrane blocking solution to fuLly cover the membrane, and shake at room temperature for 30-60 minutes to complete the membrane blocking, and then perform subsequent operations such as primary antibody incubation. Blocking at room temperature for 60 minutes is usually sufficient. For some antibodies with very high background, block overnight at 4°C.
