Plant Nitrate Nitrogen Activity Assay kit
Nitrate nitrogen is the main nitrogen source for plants. The content of nitrate nitrogen in plants reflects the supply of nitrate nitrogen in the soil and can be used as an indicator of soil nitrogen fertilizer. Determining the nitrate nitrogen content in plants can not only reflect the nitrogen nutrition of plants, but also has important significance for identifying the quality of vegetables and processed products using plants as raw materials.
Under concentrated acid conditions, NO3- reacts with salicylic acid to generate nitrosalicylic acid. Nitrosalicylic acid is yellow under alkaline conditions (PH>12). Within a certain range, its color is dark and light. It is directly proportional to the content, and the nitrate nitrogen content can be calculated by colorimetric determination.
