Modified Hematoxylin & Eosin staining Kit

Hematoxylin-Eosin staining (Hematoxylin-Eosin staining), referred to as HE staining method, is the most basic method in routine pathology. The Hematoxylin dye is a basic dye, which mainly stain basophils such as chromatin in the nucleus and ribosomes (in the cytoplasm) in purple-blue color. The Eosin is an acid dye, which mainly stain the eosinophilic cytoplasm and extracellular matrix components in red color.

The staining process needs to be optimized according to the specific experimental samples. The different staining conditions are related to the different types of tissues or cells. It changes with its life cycle and pathological changes. For example, in the neonatal period of many cells, the cytoplasm of eosin is lightly colored or slightly basophilic. When it ages or undergoes degenerative changes, it will show intense eosinophilic staining. When collagen fibers are aging and hyaline degeneration, the coloration of eosin changes from light to light deep.

The reagents contained in this product are all working solutions and can be used directly. Compared with the conventional kit, the coloring time of eosin and hematoxylin is shorter and the color contrast is brighter.
