Hoechst Staining Kit (Hoechst Staining Kit) is a quick and easy kit that uses the classic Hoechst 33258 for apoptosis detection. When a cell undergoes apoptosis, the chromatin will shrink. Observed under a fluorescent microscope after Hoechst 33258 staining, the nucleus of normal cells will appear normal blue, while the nucleus of apoptotic cells will appear dense, or appear compact and fragmented. Densely dyed, the color is somewhat whitish. Hoechst Staining Kit is often used for apoptosis detection of cultured adherent or suspended cells and tissue sections. The test cell content range of this kit is generally between 0.1 and 1×106.
