Weigert's Gram stain kit (aniline crystal violet method)

Weigert Gram stain kit (aniline crystal violet method) is an improvement on the classic Gram staining formula, using hematoxylin and Weigert iodine solution to enhance staining. This method is also evolved from the ammonium oxalate crystal violet method. Clinical specimens are directly smeared, the background is clean, the intracellular phagosomes are clear and easy to identify, and the bacterial staining characteristics are typical. It can distinguish Gram-positive bacteria from Gram-negative bacteria, and is particularly suitable for distinguishing bacteria from non-bacterial blue microgranular substances (such as calcium salts).
