Virus Inclusion Body stain kit (methylene blue & eosin Method)

Viruses are a type of microorganism that is extremely small and can pass through bacterial filters and can only grow and proliferate in living cells. Virus particles are generally 10 to 30 nm and are mainly composed of nucleic acids and proteins. Under an ordinary light microscope, round or irregular bodies of varying sizes and numbers can be seen in cells infected by certain viruses, which are called viral inclusions. This substance is mostly located in the cytoplasm and is acidic, such as rabies virus inclusions; some are located in the nucleus and are alkaline, such as adenovirus nuclear inclusions; some are both in the cytoplasm and in the nucleus, such as measles virus inclusions. RNA viruses often form cytoplasmic inclusions, and DNA viruses mostly form nuclear inclusions. This kit uses the Mann's methylene blue and eosin staining method, the nucleus is stained blue by methylene blue, and the inclusions are stained red by eosin. In viral infections, inclusions may be sites of viral proliferation, but it should be noted that not all inclusions in cells are viruses, and inclusions can also be formed by cell degeneration.
