Trypsase Activity Assay kit

Trypsin selectively hydrolyzes the peptide chain formed by the carboxyl group of lysine or arginine in denatured protein, which is an important digestive enzyme. In addition, trypsin is also widely used in the adjuvant treatment of local edema, hematoma and abscess caused by empyema, hemothorax, surgical inflammation, ulcer, traumatic injury, etc.

Trypsin catalyzes the hydrolysis of the ester bond of BAEE to generate BA. BA has an absorption peak at 253nm. The activity of trypsin can be calculated by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance at 253nm.
