Tris-Glycine-SDS [1x powder sachet]

Tris-Glycine-SDS (hereinafter referred to as TGS) appears as white to pale yellow instant granules. Each pouch makes 1 L of 1x TGS solution conveniently with a simple procedure. TGS is composed of Tris, Glycine and SDS. 1x TGS contains 25mM Tris, 192mM glycine and 0.1% SDS. TGS buffer is a commonly used SDS-PAGE buffer.

Method:
1. Put magnetic stirring beads and ~600mL distilled water into a beaker.
2. While stirring, slowly pour the whole contents from 1 pouch of TGS into the beaker; wait until everything is dissolved.
3. Add distilled water to bring the volume to 1 L and 1x solution is made.
