When combined with other reagents, it can also be used for total protein extraction of samples such as plants, bacteria, fungi, and yeast. The unique formula contained in this kit can effectively dissolve cell membrane components, including cytoplasmic membrane, nuclear membrane and various organelle membranes. The protease inhibitor mixture contained in this kit prevents the degradation of protein by protease and provides a guarantee for the extraction of high-purity protein.

The protein extracted by this kit is an active protein with a natural protein conformation, the extracted protein can be used for protein interaction studies such as Pull-down and IP, as well as downstream protein research experiments such as WB, protein electrophoresis, ELISA, transcriptional activity analysis, Gel shift gel retardation experiment, and enzyme activity assay. The ability of the extract to lyse cells is mild, and the lysis time needs to be optimized according to the actual sample conditions.

This kit does not contain EDTA, therefore this kit is compatible with downstream applications such as metal chelation and chromatography.
