Tissue Gram stain kit

Gram staining was invented by Danish doctor Christain Gram in 1884. It is a widely used differential staining method in bacteriology. This method can be used to identify bacteria into two categories: Gram-positive bacteria (G+) and Gram-negative bacteria (G-). The different color reactions of bacteria are due to the differences in the permeability and anti-decolorization ability of the cell wall to ethanol, which is mainly determined by the thickness and structure of the peptidoglycan layer.

This staining kit is an improvement on the original Gram staining method and is particularly suitable for identifying bacterial infections in tissue sections. The bacteria are stained dark purple or pink, and the tissue background is colored yellow under the action of the counterstain, so that the bacteria present in the tissue can be clearly observed.
