SafeView Nucleic Acid Stain [10,000x]

SafeView is a non-carcinogenic nucleic acid stain highly recommended for visulaization or detection of nucleic acids (dsDNA, ssDNA and RNA) in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. SafeView dye replaces ethidium bromide (a potent mutagen and toxic). It could detect as little as 0.1 – 0.3 ng of DNA per gel band. The stain has a unique feature that it can differentiate DNA and RNA in gels, by staining DNA it emits green colour (max emission 520 nm) and while staining RNA it emits red colour (max emission 635 nm). SafeView can be viewed under UV light or blue light.
