RPMI-1640 [Low Glucose - 2g/L] w/ Stable Glutamine
RPMI 1640 is a widely used cell culture medium developed at the Roswell Park Memorial Institute in 1966. Originally created for culturing human leukemic cells, its versatile formulation has made it suitable for a broad range of mammalian and primary cell cultures.
RPMI 1640 with low glucose is a standard version of RPMI 1640, with 2g/L of D-glucose. It is used for specific cell culture applications, particularly for studying cellular metabolism under glucose-restricted conditions.
