RiboGreen RNA Quantitation Kit

RiboGreen RNA Quantitation Kit is an ultra-sensitive quantitation method for RNA. It can quantify RNA concentrations as low as 1ng/mL, measured using a fluorescence microplate reader or standard fluorometer. The maximum excitation wavelength of RiboGreen when bound to RNA is approximately 500nm, and the maximum emission wavelength is approximately 525nm. Its sensitivity is over 200 times higher than that of ethidium bromide fluorescence analysis and 1,000 times higher than the A260 (UV absorption peak) method.

Note: For a 2mL cuvette, a 100uL vial can be used for 20 reactions (high concentration 25-500ng/mL) or 200 reactions (low concentration 1-50 ng/mL).

Equipment Required: Micro-fluorometer, Micro-volume cuvette adapter, Fluorescence microplate reader, Solid black 96-well plate, 10 x 10 mm fluorescence cuvette (volume 2mL)
