REAL-Prep™ Fungal & Mycoplasma Nucleic Acid (DNA/RNA) Extraction Kit (Spin Columns)

This kit is used for the rapid extraction, enrichment, and purification of fungal nucleic acids from vaginal secretions, sputum, bronchoalveolar lavage fluid, pleural and ascites fluid, urine, and cerebrospinal fluid, as well as mycoplasma nucleic acids from throat swabs, serum samples, and other samples. Various samples containing fungi or mycoplasmas are lysed with a nucleic acid release solution, and then anhydrous ethanol is added to precipitate the nucleic acids, yielding crude extracted nucleic acids. After washing the nucleic acids with a purification solution, genomic DNA and RNA are obtained. The extracted nucleic acids can be used for quantitative fluorescence PCR testing, combined with clinical manifestations and other laboratory results for clinical diagnosis. This method supports molecular testing such as quantitative fluorescence PCR, whole-genome sequencing, transcriptome sequencing, NGS sequencing, metagenomic sequencing, and metatranscriptomic sequencing.
