Plant Invertase Activity Assay kit
Sucrase (EC 3.2.1.26) is one of the key enzymes for carbohydrate digestion and absorption. It can hydrolyze sucrose into corresponding monosaccharides and be absorbed by the body.
This kit uses the 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid method to determine the content of reducing sugars catalyzed by invertase, and the rate of invertase hydrolysis can be obtained.
The rationale is that 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid and reducing sugar are reduced to brown-red amino compounds by heat. Within a certain range, the amount of reducing sugars and the color of the reaction solution are dark.
