Myelin stain kit (fast green method)

Myelin Sheath (Myelin Sheath) is a layer of membrane wrapped around the axons of nerve cells, that is, myelin sheath is composed of myelin sheath cells and cell membranes. Lipid bilayer structure, with nodes of Ranvier on the myelin sheath, which can make the nerve impulse jump transmission. Myelin staining has certain significance in pathological diagnosis, and the pathological changes of myelin are divided into early, middle and late stages. In the early stage, the staining is darker; in the middle stage of the lesion, myelin degeneration forms lipid droplets, which can be displayed by lipid staining, and in the later stage, it is completely decomposed and cleared by phagocytes, so there is no positive result of myelin sheath. Many diseases can cause myelin sheath changes. Myelin sheath stain kit (fast green method) uses fast green stain solution to stain myelin sheaths. Myelin sheaths are dark green, and demyelinated fibers are not stained.
