MEM (with Phenol red; w/o NEAA, L-glutamine, HEPES)

Minimum essential medium (MEM) is a synthetic culture medium, contains only essential amino acids, vitamins and basic inorganic salts for the growth of cultured cells. It has simple nutrients and is mainly used for the cultivation of adherent cells. After formula revision, it can also be used for other types of cell culture.
