M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase [GIII]
M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase [GIII] is third-generation reverse transcriptase derived through genetic engineering and recombinant technology from the Moloney Murine Leukemia Virus (M-MLV). This enzyme has been modified to eliminate the RNase H activity. Additionally, it exhibits significantly improved thermal stability (optimal reaction temperature: 50 °C). These greatly improve the specificity and length of the synthesized first-strand cDNA, allowing for the synthesis of cDNA fragments up to 12 kb. Moreover, GIII M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase shows enhanced tolerance to RNA secondary structures.
