LwaCas13a (C2c2) (from Leptotrichia wadei)
Lwa Cas13a (C2c2) (from Leptotrichia wadei) is a member of the Cas13a family of proteins. Derived from Leptotrichia wadei. It binds with crRNA to form functional complex, that specifically recognizes DNA sequences, and trans-cleaves ssRNA.
Lwa Cas13a forms a functional complex with crRNA, "gliding" over target RNA, and upon successful pairing, Cas13 is specifically activated, trans-cleaving the surrounding reporter molecule. This feature can be used in the field of molecular diagnostics to detect pathogens.
Material Supplied:
1) Lwa Cas131 protein
2) Reaction Buffer [10x]
3) Diluent Buffer [1x]
