Liu's stain kit

Liu's staining is a rapid staining method improved on the basis of Wright's staining, one of the commonly used staining methods in cytological examination. Like Wright stain, it is improved version based on the principle of Romanowsky stain technology. The staining results are also very similar to Wright staining and Diff rapid staining, but the time required is shorter than that of Wright staining, and the staining can generally be completed within 2 minutes.

The kit contains 1 part of Liu's A solution and 2 parts of Liu's B solution, which are prepared with acid dyes (eosin) and basic dyes (methylene blue) respectively. It is mainly used for staining blood cell smears, bone marrow smears, vaginal secretion smears, exfoliated cell smears, etc.
