Lipase Activity Assay kit

LPS, also known as glyceride hydrolase, catalyzes the hydrolysis of triglycerides to produce fatty acids and glycerol (or diglycerides and monoesters). LPS exists widely in various organisms. Abnormal increases in serum LPS are common in pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.

LPS catalyzes the hydrolysis of oil esters into fatty acids, and the formation rate of fatty acids is measured by the copper soap method to calculate the LPS activity.
