Leibovitz’s L-15 w/ L-Glutamine
Leibovitz's L-15 or Iscove L-15 medium was originally developed for a non-CO2-dependent cell growth environment (the environment requires sodium bicarbonate).
The L-15 medium is formulated with salts, basic amino acids, and galactose, a replacement for glucose. L-15 supports HEp-2, LLC-MK2 and in vitro culture of primary embryonic and adult tissues. A variety of viruses have also been successfully packaged in this medium.
This medium does not contain sodium bicarbonate, supports cells in a carbon dioxide-free environment, the medium constitutes basic amino acids and galactose.
*All cell culture media & supplements are available in standard pack size of 500mL (liquid) and 10 x 1L (powder sachets). Bulk packing in powder form is also available on request.
