Heinz Body stain solution (crystal violet method)

Denatured globin bodies, also known as hemoglobin inclusion bodies, are actually denatured hemoglobin particles that are generally attached to the cell membrane. They often occur after sensitive individuals take drugs or come into contact with chemicals that can cause Hb denaturation. This inclusion body can also be seen in some patients with unstable Hb, so it has a certain definite significance for glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency and unstable Hb disease. After dyeing with this dye solution, it appears as purple-black particles.
