Ham's F-12K w/ HEPES
Ham's F-12K also known as Kaighn's Modification of Ham's F-12, is a specialized cell culture medium; originally developed for cultivating Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. It is distinguished from the original F-12 medium by several key modifications such as increased amino acids and pyruvate; reduced glucose concentration and modified salt composition. The unique formulation of Ham's F-12K makes it particularly suitable for culturing specific cell types incluing Primary human hepatocytes; differentiated rat and chicken cells and other mammalian cells.
