Goldner's Trichrome Staining Kit
There are many bone staining methods, such as toluidine blue method, Alcian blue method, Safranin O method, etc. The Goldner trichrome stain is similar to Masson's trichrome stain. Trichrome staining usually refers to staining nuclei and selectively showing collagen fibers and muscle fibers. The staining principle of Goldner trichrome staining solution is related to the size of anionic dye molecules and tissue penetration: the size of the molecule is reflected by the molecular weight, and small molecular weight can easily penetrate densely structured and low-permeability tissues; while large molecular weight can only enter loosely structured and highly permeable tissues. This dye solution is mostly used for staining bone materials and has a good effect on cell staining. It is especially suitable for the study of metabolic diseases (Paget's disease, bone dystrophy, etc.) to evaluate the activity of osteoblasts and osteoclasts, and to easily identify metastatic tumor cells in the bone marrow.
