Glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) catalyzes glutamate and NAD to generate alpha-ketoglutarate,NADH and NH4+. Under the action of 1-mPMS, WST-1 can react with NADHtoproducewater-soluble formazan, and calculate glutamate acid content.
