Glucose Dehydrogenase Activity Assay kit
Glucose Dehydrogenase(GCDH) (EC 1.1.1.47) catalyzes the production of D-gluconic acid and NAD(P)H from D-glucose and NAD(P), which are abundantly present in the livers of higher animals and Acetobacter suboxydans. The use of GCDH in the production of oligofructose can not only remove the glucose in the oligofructose and increase the content of the oligofructose, but also the calcium gluconate formed by the combination of gluconic acid and calcium ions.
GCDH catalyzes D-glucose and NAD to produce D-gluconic acid and NADH, and measuring the rate of increase of NADH at 340nm can reflect the activity of GCDH.
