Formalin Fixative (Neutral; RNase free) [10%]
The purpose of fixation is to preserve the original morphological structure of cells and tissues, and the fixative can prevent endogenous lysosomal enzymes from autolyzing their own tissues and cells, and inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds. The fixative changes the internal structure of the protein by coagulation, formation of additive compounds, etc., thereby inactivating the enzyme.
RNase free Neutral Formalin fixative is composed of formaldehyde, phosphate, and deionized water. After RNase free treatment, the pH is 7.2-7.4. This fixative is suitable for the fixation of most tissues; specially suitable for the fixation of experimental samples related to RNA.
