Formalin Calcium Fixative (Neutral)

The purpose of fixation is to preserve the original morphological structure of cells and tissues, and the fixative can prevent endogenous lysosomal enzymes from autolyzing their own tissues and cells, and inhibit the growth of bacteria and molds. The fixative changes the internal structure of the protein by coagulation, formation of additive compounds, etc., thereby inactivating the enzyme.

Neutral Formalin Calcium fixative 10% introduces is composed of clacium acetate, formalin and phophate buffer; and the pH is 7.2-7.4, which is conducive to better maintaining the tissue shape. It is suitable for fhe fixation of most tissues, especially adipose tissue has a good fixation and preservation effect.
