Endogenous Avidin-Biotin Blocking Kit

Endogenous biotin is widely distributed in mammalian tissues, especially in liver, lung, spleen, fat, brain and other tissues. After formalin fixation, the endogenous background will be reduced, but the background in the frozen section will be greatly enhanced. Violent antigen retrieval exposes the endogenous substances in the formalin-fixed tissue, such as endogenous avidin-biotin. This kit contains endogenous avidin blocking solution and biotin blocking solution can well inhibit the activity of endogenous substances (mainly endogenous avidin-biotin).

It is especially suitable for blocking the activity of endogenous substances in immunohistochemistry.
