dCas9_NLS

The dCas9-NLS protein is a DNA-cleavage-deficient mutant of the Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9 protein (D10A, H840A), expressed recombinantly in Escherichia coli. The activity of DNA digestion of dCas9 is inactivated. It links with nuclear localization of tagged protein to form Cas9-NLS. An NLS signal peptide is added to the protein's C-terminus. dCas9-NLS can stably bind to the guide RNA (gRNA) and form a complex that can bind to target DNA.
