Cryptococcus Neoformans stain kit (steedman-lison method)

New Cryptococcus is often detected by India ink staining, especially when testing cerebrospinal fluid specimens suspected of cryptococcal infection of the central nervous system. However, in actual application, India ink staining is greatly interfered by impurities and cell components, and the detection rate is low. Especially in the early and recovery period of central nervous system infection, the number of cryptococci is small and it is easy to miss the detection. This kit uses the Alcian Blue method, which has high staining specificity and clear coloring, and can effectively improve the detection rate.
