Creatine Kinase Activity Assay kit
Creatine Kinase (EC 2.7.3.2) mainly exists in the heart, muscle, brain and other tissues. It can reversibly catalyze the transphosphoryl reaction between creatine and ATP, and is important in energy operation, muscle contraction and ATP regeneration. It is an important indicator for clinical diagnosis of heart and brain diseases.
CK catalyzes creatine phosphate and ADP to produce creatine and ATP, hexokinase catalyzes ATP and glucose to form glucose 6-phosphate, and glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase catalyzes glucose 6-phosphate and NADP+ to form NADPH, resulting in light absorption at 340nm.
