Ceruloplasmin Content Assay kit

Ceruloplasmin is a copper-containing protein in plasma. It has the function of transporting copper and has the activity of oxidase. It is an important antioxidant in the extracellular fluid.

Ceruloplasmin catalyzes 3,3’,5,5’-tetramethylbenzidine to produce a blue product, with a characteristic absorption peak at 645nm, which can be used to obtain ceruloplasmin activity.
