Cas12a Master Mix (Lateral Flow)

Cas12a forms a functional complex with crRNA, "gliding" over the target nucleic acid sequence. Upon successful pairing, Cas12a is specifically activated and trans-cleaves the surrounding reporter molecule. This kit contains ssDNA dually modified with FAM and Biotin as the reporter molecule. When activated by the target sequence, the Cas protein indiscriminately cleaves the reporter molecule within the system. The results can be quickly observed visually using a chromatographic test strip.

Cas12a master mix contains contains Cas12a, reaction buffer, reporter molecule, positive control. Simply add the sample, such as the DNA amplicons and the corresponding crRNA. Cas12a will be activated. Reporter will be cleaved. The result can be read with a chromatographic test strip.
