Brucella stain kit (kirschner method)
Brucella is a gram-negative, non-motile bacterium that is most susceptible to infection in animals such as cattle, sheep, and pigs. Brucella staining is also known as Kozlowski staining or Kozlowski staining. Brucella stain kit uses safranin as a staining agent. Clinical specimens are directly smeared, with a clean background, strong contrast between the nucleus and cytoplasm, clear and easy-to-identify intracellular phagosomes, and typical bacterial staining characteristics. Once red dot-shaped bacteria are found among green bacteria.
