BCIP/NBT substrate kit [25x]

The kit contains 25x NBT (Nitroblue tetrazolium chloride) and 25x BCIP (5-bromo-4-Chloro-3-Indolyl Phosphate) chromogenic substrates with the 1x AP reaction buffer. The BCIP is catalyzed by the Alkaline phosphatase (AP) and the BCIP hydrolyzed to produce a highly reactive product which will react with NBT to form an insoluble dark blue to blue-violet precipitate.

Precautions: BCIP and NBT are suspected carcinogens, please take necessary precautions. Wear gloves when handling, avoid contact with the skin as much as possible, and rinse thoroughly after use.
