AsCas12a (Cpf1)
AsCas12a (Cpf1) is a member of the Cas12a family of proteins. Derived from Acidaminococcus sp. Cas12a. It binds with crRNA to form functional complex, that specifically recognizes DNA sequences, and trans-cleaves ssDNA
As Cas12a forms a functional complex with crRNA, "gliding" over the amplification product of the DNA, and upon successful pairing, Cas12a is specifically activated, trans-cleaving the surrounding reporter molecule. This feature can be used in the field of molecular diagnostics to detect pathogens.
Material Supplied:
1) AsCas12a protein
2) Reaction Buffer [10x]
3) Diluent Buffer [1x]
