Agarose 4 Fast Flow
Size exclusion chromatography (SEC) or gel filtrationis is often used to separate a wide range of molecules according to size, including proteins (enzymes), polysaccharides and nucleic acids. The gel filtration matrix formed from agarose beads that are available with 4% or 6% agarose and 4% or 6% cross-linked agarose content.
The Agarose 4 Fast Flow (FF) matrix is based on modified cross-linked 4% agarose. The modification to the cross-linked 4% agarose to fast flow results in improved physical stability and chromatographic qualities. The improved rigidity permits higher flow rates resulting in improved resolution in minimum time.
