Acid Phosphatase Activity Assay kit

Acid Phosphatase catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphate monoesters under acidic conditions and is called inorganic phosphate, which is commonly found in the lysosomes of macrophages. ACP is often used as an adjunct to prostate cancer diagnosis. In an acidic environment, ACP catalyzes the hydrolysis of benzene disodium phosphate to produce phenol, which reacts with 4-aminoantipyrine and potassium ferricyanide to produce red subquinone derivatives.
