Acid Fast Green stain kit
Different amino acids carry side chain groups with different chemical properties, some have basic side chains, and some have acidic side chains. The proteins composed of these have different numbers of basic groups and acidic groups. These groups will cause the protein to have different net charges in different pH solutions. If the entire protein molecule carries more positive charge, it is an alkaline protein (the isoelectric point tends to be acidic); if the entire protein carries more negative charge, it is an acidic protein (the isoelectric point tends to be acidic).
Acid Fast Green stain kit uses acidic proteins combined with the positively charged acidic dye fast green for staining. The most abundant acidic proteins in cells are mainly present in the cytoplasm and nucleolus, so a small part of the cytoplasm and nucleolus are stained green after staining. This stain solution is only used in the field of scientific research and is not suitable for clinical diagnosis or other purposes.
