TBS-T [1x; powder sachets]
TBS-T appears as white to off-white instant granules. Each pouch makes 1L of 1x TBS-T solution conveniently with a simple procedure. TBS-T is composed of NaCl, KCl, Tris and Tween-20. 1x TBS-T contains 137mM NaCl, 2.7mM KCl, 25 mM Tris and 0.05% Tween-20.
TBS-T buffer is a widely used buffer in biology labs. It is used in immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridizations, enzyme-linked immunoassays and western blot. It is ideal for substrate washing, antibody dilution and blocking solution preparation.
Method:
1. Put magnetic stirring beads and ~600mL distilled water into a beaker.
2. While stirring, slowly pour the whole contents from 1 pouch of TBS-T into the beaker; wait until everything is dissolved.
3. Add distilled water to bring the volume to 1L and 1x solution is made.
