Streptavidin [HRP conjugated]
HRP-labeled streptavidin is used as a highly sensitive detection system in various research assays by binding to biotinylated molecules and then catalyzing a colorimetric or chemiluminescent reaction. Its applications include ELISA, Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and in situ hybridization to detect target molecules that have been tagged with biotin. The HRP enzyme (horseradish peroxidase) reacts with a specific substrate to produce a detectable signal.
