Carnoy's Fixative

Carnoy's fixative, is mainly composed of ethanol and acetic acid. It is suitable for the fixation of cells & tissues; and is often used in animal and plant compression and paraffin sections. Recommended for tissue fixation for RNA and DNA staining, and also for tissue fixation for glycogen staining, which can make glycogen into fine granules.
