BSA [HRP conjugated]

HRP-labeled BSA (Horseradish Peroxidase-labeled Bovine Serum Albumin) is used as a blocking agent in ELISA and Western blots to reduce background noise and improve assay specificity by preventing non-specific binding of antibodies or other proteins to the plate or membrane. It can also be a reagent in HRP-conjugated detection systems for specific proteins or antigens in techniques like immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry, where the HRP label catalyzes a colorimetric reaction to visualize the target. Furthermore, HRP-labeled BSA can be the detection antibody in a sandwich ELISA assay to quantify the amount of BSA in a sample.
