Avidin [FITC conjugated]
FITC-labeled avidin is primarily used in immunofluorescence applications, such as immunohistochemistry and flow cytometry, to detect biotinylated primary antibodies or proteins. The avidin, conjugated with the fluorescent dye FITC (fluorescein isothiocyanate), binds to the biotin tag, which then emits green light when excited by a 488 nm laser, allowing researchers to visualize and quantify target molecules in tissues or cells
