Urease Activity Assay kit
Urease (UE) is widely distributed in the seeds of plants, and also in the blood and urine of animals. Certain microorganisms can also secrete urease. Hydrolysis of urea produces ammonia and carbonic acid, which play a key role in the conversion of urea. Using indophenol blue colorimetry to measure the NH3-N produced by urease hydrolysis of urea to reflect UE activity.
